Ella's Santa gift was a huge pile of books. Including several huge drawing books, Where the Sidewalk Ends and Where the Wild Things are....among many other Scholastic books. She also got a genuine drawing paper book with some weird melted togather crayon which she surmised must be the way the Elf's make drawing devices in the North Pole. I love how even though we don't follow the Santa fantasy she still plays along for childhood fun and that matters a lot to me!
And Ella's number one requested toy for the year was the unbelievably expensive Bella stuffed dog from Hallmark. I bit the bullet and bought it but had a nice amount of coupons from Walgreen's to reduce the price. Whatever price it was worth it all when she saw that thing!
