Several months ago, we ran across a super sale at Toys-R-Us on train tables. Binyam had just recently invested a bunch of overtime hours and wanted to get a table for Ezra. We ended up keeping it in the garage for months unhidden for months awaiting Christmas. Ezra would often sit in front of the box looking longingly. We didn't give in. Our neighbor has a train table in his garage for his boys and let Ezra come over whenever he wanted to play with the table. He did accuse me of being cruel not giving him the table and holding out till Christmas....So Christmas rolled around and thinking it was an easy set up we got to work shortly after the kids were in bed. Boy were we wrong. It took five hours, Binyam passed out asleep on the couch after four hours and I got the last hour shift setting up the tracks.
When we went to bed it looked like this and we were so excited for our boy to get his toy!Ezra is a train fanatic! He is all about the trains and was shocked to find this that wonderful Christmas morning. I was just telling a friend last night that Christmas was special this year. Our kids are little which makes this Christmas the funnest kind of Christmas!
